The math prop firms hope you skip
Every tool runs in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere. Plug in real numbers, then size for survival, not for the hero trade.
Position sizer
Find a contract count that gives you real cushion.
Costs included. Most calculators leave these out, which makes the numbers look better than they are.
Trailing drawdown survival
The single biggest cause of blown prop accounts. Find out where your floor actually is.
Most traders think in percentages. Prop firms think in dollars from your high water mark. That difference is why accounts die.
Trailing: your floor follows your profit upward. Go up $1,500, then give back $2,000, and you can bust even though you never went below your starting balance.
Locked: once your floor reaches your starting balance plus the lock threshold, it stops moving. You can no longer lose the account by giving back gains.
Know which one you are in, because it changes your maximum safe size completely.
Many firms require your best day to stay under a set percentage of your total profit. That means a single oversized winning day raises your own withdrawal bar. Sizing up does not get you paid faster if it scales your best day at the same rate.
Costs included. Most calculators leave these out, which makes the numbers look better than they are.

Discipline Duel
Same edge, same luck. Behavior decides who survives.

Losing Streak Reality
Long streaks are normal. Size to survive them.
This is a fair coin set to your win rate. No edge math, just luck, to show what real streaks look like.
Account Survival Simulator
Will this account die before your edge pays out? Resamples whole sessions to keep loss clusters intact.
Rules vary by firm and change over time. Check your own account before relying on these.
| Contracts | Pass % | Bust % | Median sessions |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0.8% | 0.0% | 104 |
| 2best ratio | 45.8% | 0.0% | 91 |
| 3 | 78.4% | 0.8% | 71 |
| 4 | 87.6% | 3.6% | 53 |
| 5 | 87.8% | 9.4% | 41 |
More size does not mean faster. It usually means sooner, in the wrong direction.
If your firm caps your best day at 40% of total profit, one oversized winner raises the total you need to clear. Scaling contracts scales your best day too, so sizing up does not shorten the path.
We resample whole sessions, not individual trades, because losses cluster. Shuffling trades one at a time makes any account look safer than it is. In our own testing that difference was 2.7 percent versus 12 percent ruin risk on the same data.
Costs included. 500 runs per configuration. Sessions bootstrapped in blocks of 5 to preserve bad stretches.
