Right idea, still a loss. Why that is a good trade

You marked the level. You waited for the entry. You placed the stop under the base and sized correctly. Price ran in your direction, then reversed and stopped you out.

That is not a bad trade. That is a good trade with a bad result.

The simulator grades you on process, not outcome. If you took a valid setup with proper risk management, you get full credit even when the trade loses. This is how real trading works. No edge wins every time. The edge shows up over a series, not in any single candle.

The hard part is believing this after three losses in a row. The simulator gives you enough reps to see the math play out. Some sessions you lose four in a row and still end the day profitable because the winners were larger. Other sessions you win six in a row and give it all back on one oversized trade.

Process over outcome. Say it until you believe it.
